Applejack Line-Slinger

So I had challenged myself to do nothing but altered art MTG cards featuring Applejack for the EqD Artist Training Grounds 2. Pony in armour? No problem. Pony training? Still not really hard. Pony in a duel? Crap. Doesn't help that I JUST DID dueling ponies the other day. But that was a normal painting and I'll be damned if I go back on my personal challenge.

Apparently I own a nonexistent number of cards that would work for an earth pony in a duel. Tons of cards that would work with a unicorn, but an earth pony? No chance. So I had to get a little creative with today's submission. Oh well, I'm sure anyone who plays MTG will get what's happening here.

Of course the part that REALLY bugs me is right after I finished it I found out I missed the deadline. I forgot that they had changed the submission deadline from what it was last time and thought I had finished it with a few hours to spare. >_<
